Disney about to start charging for resort overnight guest parking! Book today to avoid extra parking fees!

Disney will start charging for standard overnight self-parking at the Walt Disney World resort hotels on reservations made March 21, 2018! Those who make reservations before March 21st will not be charged.

For those visiting in 2019, but not more than 499 days from today, a good strategy would be to contact a travel agent to have them call Disney and book your hotel only reservation.  Package prices do not come out until later this year, however, you can book hotel only up to 499 days in advance.

Now back to the details. Parking charges by resort categories are as follows:

Disney Value Resorts – $13 USD per night

Disney Moderate Resorts – $19 USD per night

Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts – $24 USD per night

There is complementary parking for those staying at the campsites in Disney’s Fort Wilderness. Each campsite provides one parking space for motorized vehicles.

Disney Vacation Club Members will not be charged parking when staying at a DVC Deluxe Villa regardless of if they are using their points during that trip. Members also will not be charged when they are using their points to stay at any Disney resort that they are using their points to stay at.

Day guests will not be charged. Charges are only for those staying overnight on property.

Now that you have the details, make sure to contact your travel agent today (I would be more than happy to help!) and get your resort booked so that you can avoid the parking fees! Click here to get a Walt Disney World quote today!
